My daughter absolutely loves Camp Timberline. It is designed to explore the unique topography of Hawaii. The camp is designed for children from Kindergarten through 8th grade. MS Advanced LEGO Mindstorms Week 5 - Merrill Engineering Building
This week delves deeper into the Lego Mindstorms robotics systems. Attendees will learn more about programming the Mindstorms robots and practice more advanced build techniques while making some cool Lego robot projects. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Lunch is provided. This camp is open to students entering 6th-9th grade. Campers must have taken the Middle School Graphics and Robotics camp, or the FLL camp, or have significant experience with FLL competitions prior to attending this camp. 801-585-1726
College Prep Camp - Non-Appalachian Region - Transylvania University
Transylvanias College Prep Camp will give campers an opportunity to sample college life while gaining academic knowledge and learning how to improve their scores on standardized tests. Morning and afternoon sessions will explore different academic areas through lectures given by Transylvania faculty and staff members. These will often be the same lectures you might receive as a Transylvania student. Evening sessions will help prepare campers for the ACT and SAT exams. They will receive two evenings of math preparation and two evenings of verbal preparation. During camp, participants live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet services will not be available in the dorm rooms. To be eligible for this camp, campers must have a grade average of at least a B and be recommended by two individuals - one of them a teacher or counselor who verifies your grades and confirms that you are interested in and would benefit from the camps program. The PLAY group is for 4- 7 year old children needing social interaction. Come work on sensory exploration and floor play with a specialist in learning differences. Kids will enjoy interacting with one another, music, and game activities. This class is designed for young children who are newly diagnosed, introverted, or simply needing to practice basic interactive social skills to foster appropriate play. 713-461-7200

This soccer camp focuses on improving players through fun, dedicated games and activities. Players will be actively engaged the entire time they are attending the camp. Character education is also an important part of the camp. All camps are for boys and girls.
