LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Debate Camp 2.0 - Recreation and Cultural Center
Debate Camp 2.0 (Grades 6 - 9) Debate Camp 2.0 is limited to participants who have already completed a week of Debate Camp in the summer of 2015, or who are registered for a week of Debate Camp for summer 2016 (If plan on registering for both programs at the same time you must register in person). It will be a faster moving and more advanced program designed to sharpen debate and mock trial skills at a more competitive level. Less time will be spent on the acquisition of skill through mini-lessons and modeling and more time will be spent engaged in competitive debates, mock trials, and political campaigns. Since less time will be devoted to the direct teaching of the fundamental debate and persuasive communication techniques, campers will be engaged in more debates and mock trials throughout the week. Campers will also be working in campaign teams to draw from the ideas of existing presidential candidates to design their own original political platform and run in a Mock-Campaign/Election for President of the United States! Kid's Sewing Camp - undefined, PA
Sewing Camp is offered to children ages 6-14. This year we will be working on a number of machine projects as well as some hand sewing. There is no experience necessary. I'm very excited about the projects we have selected. I think the children will absolutely love what they accomplish during this week of camp! And they will learn a lot! Resident High Performance Camp (Housing Included) - Stanford
Open to any and all male entrants aged 9-18 years, this camp is designed primarily for competitive gymnasts, levels 6 through 10. Athletes choosing the Resident option will get the full Stanford experience, staying in the student dormitories and eating in the dining commons. Gymnasts will be grouped by age and competitive experience. This is a unique camp, as it is intended for highly motivated and college bound gymnasts. The High Performance Camp is gymnastics focused with 6-7 hours of training per day. Coached by members of the Stanford Mens Gymnastics Team as well as the Stanford Coaching staff, this camp offers gymnasts the opportunity to raise their skills to the next level. During camp, gymnasts will be coached and taught each aspect of training at the highest level. This includes technical coaching on all events, air-sense, execution/presentation, strength and flexibility.
