Discover how to throw on the wheel making useful forms including mugs, bowls, plates, and vases then decorate the forms with a variety of colorful slips and glazes. Come out to support an awesome charity, have fun and get your sweat on... unless you're the kind of person that is ok with kids not having coats this winter ;) All fitness levels are welcome! Classes are 55 minutes and begin at 8am & 9:30am. Max 25 people per group so be sure to sign up in advance! $20/person (you can pay at the door or in advance). The $20 donation will cover the cost of a NEW coat, gloves and hat for 1 child. TO REGISTER: 1) We have a sign up sheet at the gym. 2) Email us at [email protected] and let us know which time you would like to attend. Coat-A-Kid provides new coats, hats and gloves, free of charge, to kids in need in the St. Louis area. They are 100% volunteer run, so 100% of the proceeds go to coating children!

Coding Camp follows a progressive computer science curriculum that teaches kids how to code using Scratch, an event-driven visual drag & drop programming language developed by MIT Media Lab. Kids will learn fundamental computer programming concepts, techniques and best practices while learning to code interactive computer programs and games based upon the TechSmartKids Coders methodology. These camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to fine tune/learn fundamental skills by teaching and correcting campers mechanics and techniques. The skills covered will include passing, serving, setting, hitting, blocking and floor defense. The camp will be led by current UAA Head Coach Chris Green and staff. Space limited to 48 campers.
