Kid's Campout with the Prickly Pear Living History Museum - San Antoni
Do you want to help your kids build a connection to nature, but aren’t sure how? Do you struggle to get them away from screens? On March 19th and 20th Government Canyon State Natural Area and the Prickly Pear Living History Museum will be co-hosting a camping event for kids ages 10-16 and their parents. No screens allowed, but no one will be bored. Instead, we’ll talk about how local Native Americans survived and thrived in the same places we now call our home. For hands-on learning we’ll have reproduction tools, weapons, and natural resources for everyone to explore. Along the way, kids discover how to be hike leaders and why it’s important to be good caretakers of the land. We’ll provide most of the equipment. Maximum of two kids and two adults per group, so that more kids can enjoy the experience. Space is limited to 12 people. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Our last event filled up fast. Carved & Hand-Built Vases in Clay - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
In this class students will slabs to construct a one-of-a-kind vase form. Decorative designs will be carved into the shape to give these vessels an ornate appearance. Finished pieces need to be fired and glazed. All works will be picked up at a later date. 302 239-2434 x120

This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys & girls 10-18 years old. Players will engage in a competitive training environment, with high level coaching. Goalkeepers and Strikers will train separately for the first half of each session and then come together during the second half of training each day. These sessions will allow players to improve technically, tactically, physically, and psychologically. The curriculum will follow the same coaching methods as our Professional and Academy Sporting KC teams. All players will have the opportunity to be trained by our Professional Sporting KC Academy coaching staff members and all sessions will take place at the official training grounds for Sporting KC and Swope Park Rangers. We recommend completing the Shooting & Finishing camp as a prerequisite to the Goalkeeper & Striker Training but is NOT required. Advanced Skills Camp - Pete Maravich Assembly Center
Open to girls entering 7th -12 grades. The camp focuses on assisting campers that maintain a solid foundation of skills learn more advanced parts of the game. Campers need to be physically prepared to train and ready to bring high energy to the gym. Coaches will cover each area of the game, position specific training as well as competitive drills. The camp schedule includes 2 training sessions on Friday, 3 training sessions on Saturday and finishes with 2 training sessions on Sunday. Overnight and commuter options are available. *Due to incurred costs to Tiger Volleyball Camps, any and all refunds will be subjected to a processing fee of $10.00. The refund will be credited to the card used for registration. Please allow minimum one week for processing.* 225-772-5166
