What would it take to harness the collective wisdom, resources and desires embodied in the New Culture community? This year at New Culture Summer Camp Cascadia, we will be exploring our creative edges, expanding our comfort zone, and integrating the skills, knowledge and intuitions of participants to co-create an experience that is unique, alive, and transformational. We are inviting talented facilitators and presenters to join us in our experiment as we also open up the programming to respond directly to the desires of the group in the moment. What will arise? What will we create? What new discovery will we uncover as we practice together being fully present in our bodies and in community? Each day will include ZEGG-style Forum for connection and transparency. Together we will cultivate connections, empower personal and social change, support healing, and explore love & freedom of choice. All kids up to age 18 welcome, no charge for current EquQuest horsemanship students; $250 for new students Camp dates are March 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18; 10 AM to 1 PM each day. Kid's learn to catch their own horse, tack it up, do ground work and ride (as age and confidence level appropriate). Get's them outside in sunshine and fresh air, helps them develop compassion for animals and puts them in touch with nature. Bring sunscreen, water and a snack. Call Michelle Clarke with any questions (512-868-7638) Equipment (except for riding helmets and boots) and horses provided. Please, no bicycle helmets.

Learn to Sail Camp | Week 4 - Cherry Creek Reservoir
FOR A GREAT SUMMER…Just Add Water! Sign up NOW for a weeklong Learn To Sail Camp to experience the exhilarating sport of sailing! Emphasis is on learning the basics, feeling comfortable on the water and HAVING FUN! The course will teach rigging, capsize recovery, safety, basic boat handling and terminology. Participants should bring a lunch, bathing suit, towel, change of clothes, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and water shoes. CSC will provide all equipment, including life jackets. The WCU Girls Basketball Camp is designed to teach the fundamentals/strategies of basketball through instructional skill sessions, team practice and games all with an emphasis on individual skills, team concepts and fun. Field Trip Camp - with Mr. Earl - Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission
Field Trips will leave at different times. Drop-off at the Jefferson County Community Center will be at 9:00 a.m. for the trips on Monday thru Thursday. Friday?s trip to Hershey Park will leave from the JCCC at 7am and will return at 6:30pm. Some trips may not leave until later or may leave as early as 9:15 a.m. During wait time for bus departure and drop off, games and other activities will be provided for the children until they are boarded. Pick-up for campers will be at 4:00 p.m. All trips are transported by Jefferson County School Buses. Campers will be required to bring special items each day. Campers must bring a packed lunch to camp each day, and wear sneakers, along with a snack and plenty of water. Other examples include: swimwear, extra cash for concessions/souvenirs, sunscreen, etc. Parents/Guardians who would like to volunteer to assist with the camp must pay their own fees for entry for each field trip. Parents/Guardians will need to submit a volunteer background check by July 10, 2013 in order to attend any trip. Cost includes tickets and admission for all trips daily.
