Discover skills of the ancient scout, nearly lost to history, if it weren’t for a handful of people who kept these practices alive. We’re a staff who has studied under scouts only once removed from the likes of Baden-Powell and Geronimo. A scout must live in honor, balance and harmony with the earth in order to blend with nature and move over any terrain like a shadow. There’s also an aspect of martial arts in this camp, using tricks of mind-over-matter to help us accomplish feats that seem impossible. Camp Goals & Skills Covered: The goal of Secrets of the Ancient Scout is to introduce you to the scout code of honor, including teamwork. ORIGINS Youth Camp 2016 - Sparks, OK
Parents the Youth have chosen Camp #2 which is May 30th - June 3rd. I know it seems far away but we MUST have an idea on a head count so we can go ahead and get our week reserved. It will more than likely be 100% full within a week so we would choose week #3 which is June 6th-June 10th. THE KIDS are choosing Camp #2 because of the speaker we had last year will be at Camp #2. Please chat with your YOUTH AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and let me know by this Wedneday if at all possible. I would like to send in the registration fee for each kid this week to reserve our spots. Then we can work over the next 3-4 months fundraising and hopefully again fund each kid 100% like last year. If you have any questions please feel free to call, text or email me. No Camp July 4. Everyone is welcome in this no-audition, ensemble focused summer camp. Youll hone your acting skills, develop audition strategies and build your singing repertoire. Parrie Haynes - Parrie Haynes Ranch
Parrie Haynes Ranch Your child will get to enjoy fishing, a nature walk, archery, arts and crafts, horse care, field games, and lunch out at Parrie Haynes Ranch. This trip is for students 8 years old and above. We will be departing BCYC no later than 9:00 am. Please have our child dropped off by 8:30 am in a red shirt and tennis shoes or hiking boots. Please no sandals or flip flops. Make sure they are wearing socks as well. Lunch will be included in this trip. It would be a good idea to send them with a small, light weight back pack/ bag with a water bottle and sunscreen to re-apply throughout the day.
