This 68 year old camp is designed for children from 2nd grade to 11th grade. The camp has a strong Jewish heritage which influences the activities they offer. My 12 year old son enjoys the friendly staff and the fun activities. He has grown in confidence while discovering who he is in relation to the community at large. Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 1) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Kids Night Out - Great Pumpkin - York, SC
It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! Join us as the weather cools a bit for all the fall festivities, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Great Pumpkin. Forest Overnight Camp - Camp Waubanong
Join us for a week of thriving and surviving at Forest Camp. Become the eyes and ears of the forest as you learn confidence through the skills of the scout. Discover how to blend into the landscape through the arts of camouflage, navigation without compass or map, and stealthy movement. Together with your fellow adventurers you will build fire from friction, craft and use natural tools, identify and harvest edible plants, cook over open fires, sleep in a rain-proof shelter you build yourself, and more! In addition, Forest Campers can swim, play capture the flag, pick wild raspberries, play music, tend the camp garden, or build wilderness shelters during free time. Forest camp inspires youths natural discovery, cooperation, responsibility, and independence. Campers spend their week in traditional Adirondack Shelters with up to eight other campers. Our girls and boys cabins are located on separate ends of campus. 2nd Session - Soccer - YSCP
Intro: The soccer club will focus skill base practices instead of playing a game. The ultimate goal of this club is to recruit players for the YSCP soccer team. Students will learn positions, strategies and ball controlling. Bio: Frank Ayata has been with YSCP since 2007 as business manager. He loves playing and teaching soccer. He has been playing soccer since his childhood. This year marks his fourth year with Extended Day Soccer Club. He is involved with many extracurricular activities at the YSCP such as Skiing Club, and International trips to Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Turkey.
