Lexington Family Magazine Summer Camps & Activities Fair - Lexington,
Visit booths representing camps, afterschool activities, birthday party venues, health care professionals, schools and more at our 14th Annual Fair. The Fair will be held at Lexington Christian Academy at 450 W. Reynolds Rd. just across the street from Meijer and behind Fayette Mall. We fill both of the gyms at the school. Students focus on the standard topics of first-year algebra, emphasizing the fundamental ideas of the subject. Topics may include solving and graphing linear equations and functions, quadratic equations and functions, solving and graphing inequalities, systems of equations, factoring expressions, absolute value and exponential and radical expressions and equations. The Seattle Prep Varsity football coaches will be hosting a youth football camp for rising 5th-8th grade students, July 5th-8th, 1-4pm daily. The camp will feature drill and technique work designed specifically for the young athlete to build a foundation that will lead to years of success on the gridiron. Storytime Yoga PK-1 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Yoga helps the student find balance at any age, calming the mind and relaxing the body. This class helps bring active minds into union with active bodies in a non-competitive environment. Kids will learn new poses in a fun and playful way that stretches and strengthens their imaginations as well as their bodies. Mats are provided. Previous yoga experience is not required.
