The Pulse Dance Team Summer Intensive is a training camp for our current members and all Seattle Prep students who are interested in joining the 2016-17 team. The dancers will be learning an array of hip hop styles including high energy and acrobatics, hard hitting isolations, and even lyrical hip hop. We will also be learning core techniques and skills in dance such as improvisation, conditioning of the body, learning choreography faster and how to give quality performances. Youth Development Summer Camp Car and Truck Show - Concord, NC
The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office, Youth and Development Division, will be hosting a Car & Truck Show on Saturday, April 16, 2016 with all the proceeds going to benefit the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office Youth Development Summer Camp. The Youth Development Summer Camp provides At Risk Youth in Cabarrus County with a week-long camp experience. This year, we will be expanding our summer camp experience to include three, 1 week sessions that will impact over 120 At Risk Youth in Cabarrus County. During a typical week of summer camp, At Risk Youth interact with police officers in a positive learning environment. Some of the camp activities include bowling, fishing, mini golf, swimming, along with trips to the zoo and local movie theaters to name a few. Interlaced within these activities are structured lessons which teach about the dangers of bullying, internet safety, gun safety, peer pressure, and drug abuse. In today’s society, now more than ever, we need positive role models for our youth. The School Resource Officers of the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office are effective, positive, motivational, role models for these At Risk Youth. Children's Yoga Camp: August 22-26th For children ages 7 & up, tweens & teens welcome! All yoga experience levels welcome! Yoga is very beneficial for children's overall health and development. While the emphasis is upon mobility and agility for the younger ages, gradually the postures are improved and perfected. Youth 12 years old through high school, come and join us for a night of wonderful music with Jeremy Camp, a Christian musician and songwriter. Tickets are about $17 if you buy them on your own The Bdecan Ministry Team will be purchasing up to 10 tickets for this concert, and you can come with us for free. Here's the thing, we need you to come to Youth Group both Sunday November 15th and Sunday November 22nd to sign up to come. First 10 to sign up will get to come for free. For children, 3 to 8 years old, GROUPED by AGE. Five weeks. Session held in the gym. Rovers Soccer Skill Building is directed by professional soccer coach and NJ Youth Soccer Hall of Fame Inductee, Spencer Rockman. This weekly, high energy session puts emphasis on skill-building games, which promote maximum learning and enjoyment - enhanced by a small-sided soccer match. These sessions are convenient for families, since siblings can play at the same time, divided according to age/ experience. Rovers accommodates all levels of experience for boys and girls. Make-ups can be arranged when the office is notified IN ADVANCE that a child will miss a session. Each child should bring a properly sized ball and a water bottle. The USF June Residential Training Camp Program for field players offered at the University of South Florida is designed to improve players both on and off the field.
