LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Teen Adventure Camp - Sequoia Highlands
Teen Adventure Camp starts at 9 a.m. on June 27 at Sequoia Highlands, which is a large camp built around 1970. There is a large kitchen and dining room and a big recreation room with pool tables, pingpong and darts as well as other activities. The accommodations are in long dorms with army cot bunks, one dorm for girls, one for boys. The view of the valley is spectacular, and the charm of this camp is that it is rustic, has lots of room and is close to Kings Canyon National Park. We take trips on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to lakes, rivers, caves and mountains up in the parks, hiking & swimming & exploring the area. We will also learn about the ecology of the area and how climate change is affecting the Parks and the central valley. While at camp we will tie-dye our camp shirts, create our own videos, fish if the pond is full, and simply hang out and enjoy each others company. Campfires are planned for the evenings after dinner. Emphasis is on teamwork and building community. 559-336-9362

This week long camp will be filled with all kinds of activities; basketball, volleyball, skateboarding, rock climbing, disc golf and hiking. If you’ve gone with us before to Winter Camp, you know just how great this camp is. How much more fun will it be to have access to more of what the camp has to offer in the summer months. Like swimming in the pool or zip lining across the lake, and driving go carts, just to name a few. Donnie Moore and his Radical Reality team will be our Guests Speakers all week and Tiffany and the band will be leading us in Worship each day. So grab some friends and register to go to camp, you’ll be challenged in your walk with God, encouraged in your faith and you’ll be able to start the new school year with confidence in who you are in Christ. Gymnastics - Intermediate Gymnastics Camp - Jefferson County Community Center
This camp is for gymnasts that have mastered basic positions and skills. The intermediate gymnastic level introduces the gymnast to skill on the high beam, handstand forward rolls, round offs, front walkovers and back walkovers. Gymnasts will also work on skills using the bars and springboard. Parents please provide snacks for your child, as we will be breaking daily for a snack. Pinewood Sailors - Andrea McCoy Recreation Center
Build a pond sailing pinewood boat. Use creativity while learning about styles of boats, parts of boats and basic physics of boats. Student will assemble pinewood kits and decorated them before taking them home and being able to sail them in a lake, pond or even a bath tub. Minimum of 4 registrants needed 5089926219.0
August 8-12th Winona River Rats - Jaycees Pavilion
Learn and create riverside games using found rocks, sticks, and whatever else the river gives us. Build miniature test rafts and race them. Build a rafts large and small. Learn about useful and edible aquatic plants and animals. Track aquatic creatures along riverbank including the beaver, muskrat, heron, raccoon and more. Build primitive forts. Make and fish with a simple cane pole just like Huck and Tom. Use cane pole as part of stick and bindle (hobo satchel) to carry your goods during your travels. Search for treasures to fill your bindle. Barter and trade for each others treasures. 507-272-5320
