For rising 1st-8th grade students This amazing program is for all students interested in musical theatre. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about all aspects of a production and to discover and develop theatrical and musical talents. The students in this camp learn music and dance and most importantly, how to work together and support one another to deliver a wonderful performance. The mission of this camp is to boost confidence and to build friendships through cooperative effort and fun. This summer we will go Under the Sea with The Little Mermaid. We will stay at Gilmore Camp, in Malibu Creek State Park. This camp is a part of the Salvation's Army Mt. Crags & Gilmore Camp & Conference Center in Calabasas http://campmtcrags.com. Located in the heart of Malibu Canyon, this camp provides life changing experiences with various activities on site in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. 2 Day Event, Come Play Under the Lights! -This is a non-contact camp, designed to put players (boys and girls, ages 5-14) through the paces of most positions, and prepare them for the upcoming season. Players will rotate from station to station as they learn valuable techniques and fundamentals from the Lakeside High School Football Coaching Staff. Come play under the lights and Experience how it feels to play like a Lakeside Lancer under the big lights! When: June 17, 2016 from 5 pm – 8 pm June 18, 2016 from 8 am - 12 pm Where: Lakeside High School Stadium Cost: $30 for both days, at the gate sign ups registration starts at 4 pm. This intensive 2-week course is for teens aged 12 to 18 who are working professionally. This conservatory offers a rigorous, pre-college curriculum of movement, voice, improv, and scene study. Industry professionals, including award-winning casting director Donna Morong ("PRINCESS DIARIES", "10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU", "CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN"), writer/actor Sarah McCarron (HBOS "LUCK", "NEIGHBOR"), and writer/director John Hindman ("THE ANSWER MAN") teach the course.
