Children's Yoga Camp: August 22-26th For children ages 7 & up, tweens & teens welcome! All yoga experience levels welcome! Yoga is very beneficial for children's overall health and development. While the emphasis is upon mobility and agility for the younger ages, gradually the postures are improved and perfected. Join us for a daily quickly-paced playful class of yoga asanas (postures), yoga story time about sages, postures, and ethical precepts of yoga (yama and niyama) that will enrich children's understanding and experience of the background of yoga followed by an art and writing activities that will reinforce learning of the sanskrit (the language of classical yoga, which is taught and practiced in the yoga asana class) and english translations of the classical yoga posture names and elements of the names. Intro to 3D Modeling and Design (3 Weeks) - The Mini Maker
This 3 Week class will introduce your child(ren) to 3D Modeling and Design with the use of Tinkercad and Thingiverse. Each student will learn 3D printer set up, 3D printing best practices and troubleshooting, design their own projects for 3D printing and receive an introduction to 3D Scanning.
