This is the 33rd Annual Kids Camp! This may be the best camp ever!!! Last year was tremendous, but this will be something special. There are three options for camp: The first is to start on Sunday (Full Camp), another is to check in on Wednesday (Half Camp) and we also have the option of daily attendance. Week 9 AM - Second Taste - NESS
Prerequisite: Taste of Optis The Second Taste is meant to build upon the foundation of sailing skills built while your student was in the Taste of Optis program. Take the next step in the Taste of process and add another week long program to reinforce parts of the boat, the sailing lingo, and overall comfort on the water. This class uses both the Opti Trainer and Optimist dinghy as students are guided to sail on their own by the end of the week. 860-535-9362

Summer Intensive Week 2 2016 - Drew University
For teens who loves to write, The Writers Circles Summer Creative Writing Intensives are the perfect place to hone their craft. Students will develop their voices and writing ideas in a generous, creative environment with professional authors as instructors. Each week theyll choose from two different genres to focus on - fiction, poetry, memoir, sci-fi/fantasy, and more. Theyll focus on their own writing projects as well as new work inspired by creative exercises and prompts. Theyll receive supportive, constructive feedback from instructors and peers. Special excursions, guest speakers from the literary world, and a reading on Fridays for family and friends will round out the week. In this class, guided by GMLS art teacher Victoria Polyak, students will explore various art forms - drawing, painting, printmaking, cartooning, and sculpture. Full Day Enrollment - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Morning Only (9:00am-Noon) Disney Mania – Campers will work with their favorite Disney songs and characters to learn the fundamentals of singing and dancing! Build confidence and coordination to the tunes of Frozen, Tangled, The Lion King, and more! Afternoon Only (1:00 - 4:00 pm) Behind the Curtains of The Sky is Falling- The art of Stage Craft will take over the next week on Second St. This week we will be working closely with the cast of The Sky is Falling to prepare their costumes and set for the show on July 22 and 23.
