Calling all climbing kids! Come out for an amazing week of climbing and having fun. Learn basic techniques in knots, belaying, and climbing movement. The final day of each camp is outdoors, climbing on real rock here in Summit County, returning to the Recreation Center by 1:00pm. No camp on Wednesdays. Four-day camps are offered in three sessions running June 6-August 5. If youve already attended a Beginner Climbing Camp, check out our Intermediate Climbing Camp to pick up where you left off last summer to keep the climbing going! If youve already attended a Beginner Climbing Camp, check out our Intermediate Climbing Camp to pick up where you left off last summer to keep the climbing going! Upon successful completion, climbers may move to our Intermediate Climbing Camp. Suggested personal equipment for outdoor climbing day: Comfortable shoes for approach, water bottle, snack, wind/rain jacket, extra layers, sunscreen/lip balm, hat and camera. Make it a full-day, full-week camp! Campers attending morning climbing, sports, outdoor and preschool camps may attend BMC [] in the afternoon for half-price and/or attend the Wednesday field trips. Located in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, Horseshoes Adventure Camp is a week you will remember for a lifetime. Adventure Camp is a 6 day residential camp with 3 hot meals a day served family style.
