This is camp for those who want not just to have an experience, but to make an experience. We bring out the leadership skills in all our campers and help you create a unique week of camp. You will participate in all the Fowler has to offer and gain some of the skills that our staff has learned. If you are in 10th-12th grade, participation in LEAD also allows you to apply to come as a Student Working in Ministry (SWiM) and use your newly honed skills alongside of the Fowler staff. Students need to fill out a SWiM application which can be found on the Fowler website. Weeks will be assigned on a first come - first served basis. 518-631-6789

Mon, Aug 1, 2016 - Fri, Aug 5, 2016 Summer Art Camp at the SCGA Morning Classes: 9:00am - 12:00pm: Fun in the Mud (Ages 4-7) In this beginner’s pottery class students will be introduced to different kinds of clay, the pottery wheel, a variety of hand-building skills and colorful glazes. We will draw inspiration for our creations from children’s stories as we combine art, storytelling and play in this unique class offering. What I Really Want to do is Paint! (Ages 4-7) Miss Ashley will work with students to develop basic painting skills and a love for painting, along with concepts like the color wheel, line, texture and value in this foundational painting class perfect for our youngest artists. This class is designed to help prepare students for future art classes and to give them hands-on experience with paint media and tools while having a blast squishing, squirting and smushing paint onto canvas. Join us on May 6th! There will be food, games, a devo, and a bonfire at the end of the night! Tickets are $5 dollars and all money earned will go toward St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Endless Summer 80's Beach Boot Camp Bash - Ocean City, MD
Come one come all.. the season is almost over and it is time for the locals to have a friendly competition. There will be 4 events to compete in. Teams consist of 4- 6 people and must be even numbered between male and female participants. The biggest attraction will be an inflatable obstacle course set up on the beach! The second event is a tray carry competition on the beach- try not to spill! The third event is our rendition of ski-ball- each person will have 9 mallets to try to score the most points. The final event is a flip-pong competition...2 of our favorite activities mixed into one flip cup and beer pong. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams. There will also be prizes awarded to the best dressed 80's team. Jagermeister and Natty Boh will be sponsoring the event. Mug & Mallet will have happy hour prices all day to keep everyone fed and hydrated!!! The cost is $75.00 dollars a team and proceeds will go to the Ocean City Downtown Association. This is the first year trying this event and we are really looking forward to making it a huge success!
Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 3) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

This will start on September 29th and conclude on November 3rd. Each club will meet 5 times during this period. Clubs are available to students in grades 2 through 6. Please review the club descriptions to see what options are available for your child. Registration is only available online, please do not send anything via mail or email. Clubs will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and fill up quickly! Once a session is filled it will no longer be available on the web site. Enrollment will be open September 19th @ 7pm and conclude at midnight September 23th. All clubs are $35. All payments are due upon registration. You will receive confirmation of enrollment via email.
