C.O.C.’S ART DAYS C.O.C. Offers Camps On 1/2 Days, No School Days & School Breaks for Grades K-12 When school is out, art is in at C.O.C.! Each ‘No School Day’ Camp features different art adventures. Will it be Animating, Collages, Painting, Illustrating, Jewelry Designing, Clay Art & more. You can choose which 3 classes you would love to experience. You & your child can pick which art activities they want to do each day. We have an array of fun, innovative & artistic options. Each child will be able to pick up to three different activities a day. Our goal with the C.O.C. Art Days is to create artistic roots for the children. Art is a very fun, relaxing & engaging activity. C.O.C. bases their art days off of the Victor, NY Public School Calendar. We are adding more Art Days for families attending schools in different districts. Music/Chorus-The Science of Gardening - Amador Elementary School
MUSIC/CHORUS Branch Out into Music Singing and playing an instrument can be so much fun, but some students just dont know where to begin. This fun-filled class includes music basics, singing, and playing the recorder. From there, students may be able to branch out into playing another instrument, or learn to sing harmony in a choir. ​ THE SCIENCE OF GARDENS Gardening, kids dig it. Each day of class will have a hands-on science and gardening theme. On the first day of class, we will learn about the basic needs of plants and students will plant seeds. On each subsequent day we will explore topics such as leaf adaptations, flowers & pollinators, fruit, seeds & seed dispersal, beneficial insects, garden art, and sustainable gardening. Session 5 - Austin Yacht Club
The Austin Yacht Clubs Junior Sailing Camp, located on beautiful Lake Travis, is a unique summer sailing experience for kids ages 8-16. Throughout your campers week at AYC, they will learn and practice fundamental skills aboard our fleet of Optimists, Picos, Lasers, Sunfish, and Flying Juniors. With a camper to counselor ratio of 4 to 1, you can rest assured that your child will enjoy the exciting sport of sailing in a safe environment. Our camp runs Monday-Friday from 9:00-5:00 with an optional early drop-off and late pick-up hour available free of charge. Through a combination of classroom discussion, land activities, on the water drills, and games our campers gain the skills necessary to become life-long sailors! Kids Spring Break Camp - Hermitage Museum & Gardens
Magical Gardens Gardens are a major part of what makes the Hermitage so special. During this week of camp we will celebrate various gardens as we take your young artist out into the beautiful Rose Garden, Sunken Garden, and Rain Gardens at the Hermitage. Campers will do observational drawings, landscape paintings and create their very own ‘magical garden. Through nature walks they will discover garden sculptures and learn about patterns in the natural world. This year campers will also have a special opportunity to contribute to the Hermitages very own vegetable garden! Allow your artist to discover magic in the Hermitage Gardens!
