Kid's Spring Break Climbing Camp - Chattanooga, TN
TBA camps are designed for all climbing levels. Kids will learn a variety of climbing skills such as body awareness, technique, and problem reading through fun games and activities. Campers will also be able to participate in playful yoga classes, game time, and have personal climbing instruction from the teachers. MAS Youth Camp | Sept. 2-5 - Fairfax, CA

Global Video Game Designer #2 - Middle School
Students shouldnt just be playing video games, they should be MAKING their own games using video cameras, sensors, and drawings. Students even get to remix what others have done to hack their games! By learning Scratch (designed by the brilliant folks at MIT), your child will get to impress you with his or her cool and original creations. Plus, your child will be doing a good deed while gaming, as with all Level Up Village classes, 30% of the profits go towards funding a Global Partner class of students who live in poverty. Using video chatting, your child and his or her global partner will get to hack into each others games! All the while, your child will be learning about math, logic, coding and presentation skills. By completing this camper packet, parents are acknowledging and agreeing to the following. Goochland County Parks, Recreation & Facilities Expectations for Summer Camps 1. Participants, their parents, and Parks, Recreation & Facilities staff are to be respectful to each other at all times. 2. Camper Information sheet must be completed and turned into Recreation Division by childs first day of camp. 3. All registrants must conduct themselves in a way in which they do not endanger their own safety or the safety of others. 4. Review and abide by the Departments guidelines for discipline. 5. The parent and/or guardian must provide or arrange for necessary transportation for their children both to and from the program sites. 6. Registrants are expected to be dressed appropriately and to properly participate in activities. 7. All personal belongings must be labeled. 8. Each child must bring a lunch, drink, and a snack daily. Sunscreen should also be brought. 9. Necessary medications should be dropped off in the Recreation Division main office to be kept during camp...

Learn the basics of what it takes to be a lifeguard. This program promotes teamwork, leadership, and aquatic safety while introducing students to professional opportunities. Get quality water safety education on ocean and beach hazards, including rip currents, waves and tides. Gain an understanding on beach ecology and marine life and learn respect for the environment and for themselves, their parents and their peers.
