A Stake Mini-Youth Conference will be held Friday, March 4 to Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Heber Valley Girl’s Camp. All youth ages 14-18 (by March 5th, 2016) who live in the Oquirrh Lake Stake boundaries are invited to attend. The theme is “Press Forward” which is attributed to our 2016 Worldwide Youth Theme “Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life” (2 Nephi 31:20). Power Puzzle Students create an autonomous robot and program using LEGO EV3 platform. The emphasis is on building design and strategic problem solving. Through the Power Puzzle Challenge students explore understanding the elements of energy use in a world that uses more and more energy every day. As our world grows and changes, so do our energy needs. Solve missions and score points by programming an EV3 to run autonomous robots. Please come enjoy the sun and fun at Camp Buckeye this summer. We have tons of exciting trips and activities planned for your child. Camp Buckeye has plenty to do including, outdoor pool, large baseball fields, and a wonderful trail and nature area. Colorado lacrosse camps are designed to offer players both an innovative and competitive environment to develop their skills. Camp will emphasize the importance of mastering the basics while providing a challenging atmosphere for each player to take their game to the next level and perform more advanced skills. Each day will combine skill instruction with playing sessions. Players will develop individual skills as well as offensive/defensive team concepts during the day sessions.
