Has your child ever wanted to learn how to make his or her own 3D model on a computer? This camp teaches the basics of how to computer generate 3D models that can then be used for animations, 3D printouts, games, and the new fields of Virtual Reality and Alternate Reality. Campers will be introduced to 3D modeling using games such as Minecraft, Spore, and others, and then will be able to progress into using simple 3D modeling programs. Campers will get their own 3D printout of a model theyve made and will be able to take home their very own 3D models on a USB drive (516) 750-3104
Summer Basketball Camp - Grades 2-4 - Olathe Community Center
Here is a great opportunity for boys and girls to learn new basketball skills and improve on existing skills, all while getting a workout. Camp Director, Sean Birdsong, has been around the game of basketball for most of his life. The son of former NBA All-Star, Otis Birdsong, Sean played locally at Bonner Springs High School and collegiately at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO. Social Emphasis: We also understand the importance of your child meeting and learning to work together with other children and adults. We will help them learn positive ways to make friends and guide them in being friends to others. Teamwork will also be taught through various games and activities. Physical Emphasis: No couch potatoes here! We dont want our campers to just hang out and waste their day so we work at keeping them going.
