Join your tribe on this adventurous quest to prove your wilderness skills and outdoor knowledge. With a multitude of challenges, including a challenge hike, tribal council snack chats, and nature art creation, campers wont want to get voted out of this daring session. Adventure Day: All CAPs will go learn about lasers and mazes at Laser Quest. 970-455-4228
Jump Start Lacrosse - Rotary Park
Boys and Girls in grades K-6 will learn to play the fastest growing sport in the United States! Lacrosse is action packed and lots of fun. It has the elements of soccer, football, basketball and hockey. Experienced coaches provided by Jump Start Sports lead the training on all the fundamentals, including: passing & catching, fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning and defense. Players will be divided by gender and age to play fun game situational scrimmages. Plastic sticks and soft balls will be provided. Their day will include studio time with a professional artist learning to work with acrylic, ceramics, watercolor, pastels and pencil drawing. Please bring a snack and water bottle each day. Young artistes will learn how to paint ‘en plein air and travel to Georgia OKeeffe country for an overnight campout, using the light and landscape for inspiration. We will cool off in Abiquiu Lake in between art sessions before heading home to Santa Fe to complete our plein-air art adventure! 505-699-6230
