Teen Summer Camp - Macedonia, OH
Long Tail Knits will be hosting a summer camp for students looking to learn to knit or crochet. This will be held at the store June 13 through June 17 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You will learn the basics in knit/crochet. Your choice. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 per day or $125.00 for the week. If you pay for the entire week ahead of time, you will receive a 10% discount. This does not include the cost of materials. We will be offering beginner patterns for those who are just starting out and for those who have some of the basics down, we will have intermediate beginner projects for learning other techniques and stitches. Qualified staff, experienced horses and a rodeo and roping arena will be the setting for this camp. The atmosphere will encourage campers to advance their riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge and enjoy riding. All campers will get to try their hand at rodeo and roping events. Instruction will be provided and all level of riders will be accommodated. Math and science concepts will be integrated into all skill development for campers. Everyone will ride and learn horse and ranch routines. This is an overnight camp. Chuck wagon/Campfire cooking will occur, (weather permitting). Bring a sleeping bag, overnight bag, long pants, sturdy shoes or boots, sunscreen and a jacket. Riding Helmets will be provided. A week of tennis instruction, practice, games, and activities for intermediate to advanced tennis players. Players will receive individual instruction which will be reinforced by match play later in the morning. We will focus on stroke mechanics, playing strategies, and conditioning. Girls Basketball - Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP main gym About: NDP girls basketball camp teaches young players the fundamentals of the game. Those new to the sport will learn the skills of ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding and defense, while more experienced players will be challenged to further develop their competency in those areas. While great focus is paid to individual skill work, ample time is devoted to a variety of competitions. Running the camp is NDP coach Kathleen Offer, who played collegiately at Yale and has coached in the Fighting Irish program for eight years. The entire staff, which includes current NDP girls basketball players and coaches, is dedicated to challenging the campers to the best of their ability while they have lots of fun with old and new friends. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels.
