LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Introduction to Sports Performance - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Participants in this session will explore and learn sport and athletic performance methods including but not limited to strength, power, explosiveness, speed, quickness, agility, and endurance. Students will be taught multiple exercises, techniques, and routines that can be useful in developing a solid foundation in performance training. They will be exposed to isometric, isotonic, and isokinetic muscular contractions. All attendees will be tested on several different athletic performance measurements and given their results at the conclusion of the sessions, therefore providing areas in which they can improve in the future. Coach Joel Clem is Brebeuf Jesuits Strength and Conditioning Coach, Wellness Center Coordinator, and Physical Education faculty member. During his time as the strength and conditioning coach for Brebeufs athletic teams, he has trained State Championship volleyball, soccer, and hockey teams. He has also trained State Runner-Up football, baseball, soccer, and golf teams. Coach Clem has helped mold over 50 Brebeuf Jesuit student-athletes into collegiate athletes, including over a dozen competing at the Division I level. 3175247050.0

Fall Getaway - Lake Geneva, WI
Come join us for a HUGE weekend in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Pastor Joel Lawrence from the Twin Cities will be coming down. We are planning a weekend where we can come alongside each other as student and speak and grow in our faith together. This is a time of unity for our area, we want to be closer than ever before to friends in our area displaying the love of Christ. So we we will be partnering in this retreat with Badger CRU from Madison in our larger group meetings! There will be football, Capture the Flag, and an awesome opportunity to make friends while being in community! Registration is only $30! Register sooner rather than later. District Youth Fall Retreat - Mount Morris, IL
Save the date - We will be staying at the retreat lodge (and log cabin if needed) for our fall retreat. Fellowship with other youth in the district, interesting sessions, and an opportunity to help the camp out by raking leaves at the district wide leaf raking service project (Saturday starting at 8 am). Cost $40 - no charge for Advisor. Please contact Ralph Miner if cost is an issue.

Dates: February 17-19, 2017 (Friday-Sunday) Times: Camp starts 6 PM on Friday, ends at 9 AM on Sunday Ages: 4-H Age 13-19 (Age of youth on Oct. 1, 2016) and chaperones Registration Deadline: Friday, January 27, 2017 – complete forms and return to Extension Office Cost: $40 for Ravalli County Youth, $75.00 (Out of County), write checks to Ravalli County 4-H. Requirements: All counties must provide chaperones. Youth and chaperones must stay at the camp until checked out. Activities include fun workshops, private pool and gym party at the athletic club, dance, and more. Questions? Contact the Ravalli County Extension Office at 375-6611 Detailed information about the event will be sent to campers two weeks after registration closes. Not only do kids get tremendous instruction with Archery but we try to instill a greater sense of the outdoors and taking advantage of our nations parks! Featured Fieldtrip: Science Museum, St. Paul - featuring the National Parks Omni Movie attraction, Thursday, July 21. FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. There is so much activity between these hours! Our "Yellow Strikers" class is designed for those players who are actively competing. Typically, this includes high school varsity and/or ranked players. Players will refine technical form, physical fitness and mental toughness to prepare for advanced level competition. Building upon a sound tennis foundation coaches will foster an understanding of the singles and doubles strategies necessary to compete at the tournament level. *Entrants must sign up for a minimum of 2 days per week.* 904-256-5071
