On Friday, February 17th, starting at 5:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM, Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp (ATLC) will be hosting Stew Night at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club. For $6, you can get a combo of a Main Dish (Tomato Soup, Taco Soup, Chicken Stew, Venison Chili and Beef Stew), roll, drink and a dessert. Grilled cheese sandwiches will also be available to purchase for $1.00. Come on out and let us do the cooking for you! We invite you to help shake off the deep winter doldrums by joining us for a fantastical event for the dicer, strategist, gamer, and lover of shiny things in all of us! Fimbulwinter might be kept at bay if we show how much we enjoy each others' company while we play and make merry all through the wintery day and into the night! Classes for period games will be taught throughout the day, and yes, we are looking for folks to teach their favorite period dice, bone, board, card, chance,and other games! The Cuil Cholium Game Library will be present, with multiple boards for Nine, Six, and Three Man Morris, Checkers, Chess, Mancala,etc as well as binders with rules and instructions for all these games and more.

You will apply reading strategies to read the recipes, math and measuring skills to create the "meal" and then enjoy the fruit of your hard work! Camp Grow weaves nature, activities, and games into the beauty of a public garden. A day at Camp Grow can include gardening, nature activities, hikes, art, storytelling, crafts, games, music, and much more! Camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Campers bring their own snack/lunches/beverages each day. This drawing-based class is full of challenging design projects that will push your creative potential to the max. Our students become more independent and a personal sense of individual style grows stronger. Speed & Agility Camp, Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: Wroubel Center, main gym, outdoor & sand courts About: Students who attend this camp will work on all aspects of conditioning, including but not limited to speed training, agility, quickness, and anaerobic conditioning. This camp incorporates sprint mechanics and footwork as it relates to various cone, ladder, band and sprint drills, first step quickness and lateral movements. Students will be exposed to different resisted movements as well as basic agility and plyometrics. Great for sports that need high levels of conditioning like Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse, etc. By using some of these techniques, some of the 2015 football players lowered their 40-yd dash & pro-agility and increased their vertical jump. This will also help soccer with improving pre-season testing results and in-season conditioning. **Sign up for both speed & agility sessions and pay only $100. Discount will automatically load at checkout.** What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, shoes for indoor and outdoor, socks, water bottle, and a readiness to prepare for your upcoming season.
