Our 8-12 group will have an emphasis on basic movement pattern development, and SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) Training, while the 13-18 group will also dive into proper lifting technique and strength and explosive power development. Both groups will also receive education on how to maximize their results during camp through good nutiriton! Camp Simcha - Session 2 - San Dieguito County Park
Activities*** A full range of balanced programs will be offered, from exciting Jewish thematic activities to sports, arts and crafts, hiking, games, music, Oneg Shabbat and singing with Craig Parks. Staff*** Our staff are mature, well trained Head Counselors, Counselors, and and Counsels-in Training. We assist campers in forming a positive self-image as Jews and human beings, while guiding the individual camper in his/her personal development. We provide each staff member with excellent training and supervision, and evaluation. Camp Simcha has one of the best camper to counselor ratios in San Diego. Swimming*** Recreational swimming at the Lomas Santa Fe Boys and Girls Club twice weekly. Camp Simcha counselors will assist the trained and certified staff. Beginner WeDo LEGO Robotics - Club Scientific Lab
Join us for this 4 week session featuring the LEGO WeDo Robotics kit! This session is designed for students who are brand new to WeDo as well as those who have participated in previous sessions this year. Students will be able to build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors; program their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Drones (ages 12-16) - Camp Hickory Hill
Learn to skillfully fly a remote controlled helicopter drone, then race the clock in our drone obstacle course. Take your drone home to enjoy after camp!
