Camp Grow 2016 - Dragonflies Session 1 - Meadowlark Botanical Gardens
Camp Grow weaves nature, activities, and games into the beauty of a public garden. A day at Camp Grow can include gardening, nature activities, hikes, art, storytelling, crafts, games, music, and much more! Camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Campers bring their own snack/lunches/beverages each day. The camp fee for DRAGONFLIES is $300 for residents of NOVA Parks jurisdictions (cities of Fairfax, Alexandria, Falls Church, and counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, and Arlington) and $350 for nonresidents. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragonflies are campers who will enter grades two, three, and four in the Fall. Geared toward junior players new to the game with little or no experience. Juniors will be exposed to all aspects of the game of golf! Instruction includes: grip & setup, woods, irons, short game & putting. Importance of Rules, etiquette and safety. Spring Camps are held on Sunday afternoons for 3 consecutive weeks! 8 to 12 students per instructor. Fee includes use of clubs, rule book and range balls! 703.932.0537
Madeira Elementary Engineer or Astronaut - Madeira Elementary School
Young LEGO maniacs will enjoy using gears, levers, and wheels/axles to build and design some crazy, mighty machines that will help them explore and understand engineering concepts such as simple and compound machines. We will also probe into planetary science by discovering what its like to live and work in space while exploring rocketry, space suits and space food! 513-612-5786
Hitter Elite Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
This camp is designed to fine tune hitting technique. The camp will be an intense camp with a lot of reps and one-on-one instruction. Hitters MUST be physically ready for heavy use of legs and shoulders. The Setting Elite Camp will also be held at this time. The camp will be led by Head Coach Chris Green and staff. This camp WILL BE LIMITED to 24 hitters and 12 setters. This camp fills up quickly, register early! There is a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Lunch will not be provided. 907-786-1226

This camp is designed for our 3, 4, & 5 year old sprouting farmers. Children will be involved in animal care activities, meeting the new farm arrivals, nature walks, and simple farm cooking activites. These day camps are offered to teach responsibility and kindness for the farm, each other and our environment. Each day is planned for our Sprouting Farmers and offers an excellent hands-on opportunity for exploration and growth. Note: This camp runs Monday- Friday from 9-noon 860-535-8171
