Summer Camp PM - Princeton Racquet Club
MATCH PLAY: Campers get to put into practice the skills theyve learned by playing matches. Singles and doubles strategy, ladder matches, exchange matches, and Davis Cup competition. Play will take place on clay and hard courts. Campers need to be able to serve and keep score. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please bring one new unopened can of balls on the first day of camp. Sneakers must be non-marking. Campers provide their own drinks and snacks. Play will take place outdoors so sunscreen and a hat are highly recommended. IN CASE OF RAIN: Campers will use the indoor courts, fitness room and lobby areas without any additional charge. NO REFUNDS, CREDITS, MAKE-UPS, or CARRYOVERS from week to week. Teen Camp 9-4pm wk 2 - Frankfort Park District
The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7 th ? 9 th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80 th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. A copy of your child?s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration. Clay-Set Sail with Clay: Kenmore - Kenmore Elementary
Join Smart with Art as we discover sea-life creatures and explore the ocean with clay! We will create a bookend influenced by Edward Hoppers art, including a relief lighthouse design. We will work with glass pieces and clay, as we create a slab box based on Hokusais The Great Wave painting. We will learn about creating coils in clay as we design a tile with a sea creature of our choice. Exploring pinch pots techniques, students will design a bigmouth fish creation. We will also dive into a multi-medium work of art that combines an acrylic painting and a clay under the sea work of art. Join us as we explore the sea and set sail in clay with Smart with Art.
