Youth Colorguard Camp - Salem, MO
Come join us for Youth Color Guard Camp in February! Grades 3-5. Register by January 15th to make sure you can recieve a t-shirt. We will practice Monday, February 8th and Tuesday, February 9th from 6pm until 7pm in the High School Band Room. Santa Monica- Restaurant Camp II - St. Monica Catholic Church
Do you love restaurant camp so much that you want to attend twice this summer? Enjoy the same popular features as Restaurant Camp I, but cook ALL NEW recipes! Restaurant Camp I is not a pre-requisite to attending Restaurant Camp II. Open and operate your very own restaurant in Kitchen Kids popular Restaurant Camp! Calling all budding chefs, entrepreneurs, and restaurant enthusiasts! Chefs will tour the kitchen and front of house of a local restaurant, and immerse themselves in every step of the process: choose the concept and name, design the decor, create a menu and logo, learn restaurant jobs and etiquette, create, cook, and serve their signature dishes to friends and family. Throughout the week kids will also prepare delicious recipes and safely learn kitchen fundamentals, palate development, and culinary techniques. Minecraft & More $200.00 Rising 2nd-5th Session I July 11-15 8:30am-1:00pm *NOTE DIFFERENT TIME & FEE Session II July 25-29 This week long summer camp will offer boys and girls the opportunity to build a peaceful, cooperative, fun and exciting world using the GDS Minecraft server. We will turn the Lower School Technology Lab into Minecraft World! Come join your friends, or meet new ones as we share our Minecraft adventures and worlds. And theres more- During this camp, we will also investigate coding and cad using other programs that encourage technical creative thinking. Too much screen time isnt good for anyone, so part of each day students will explore several types of manipulatives to stimulate their creative minds. NOTE: All students must have their own Log-in and Password for Minecraft on a PC. Go to Minecraft.net for information on how to purchase your membership to set-up your log-in and password. Mobile and Xbox passwords will not work on our server. The log-in and password must be included in this registration. They will be kept confidential. This camp is an introduction to the basic skills, rules, and strategies of soccer. It is designed for the young athlete to gain confidence in dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball handling. These skills are then incorporated into game-like settings. 1-831-422-6391
College Prep Camp - Non-Appalachian Region - Transylvania University
Transylvanias College Prep Camp will give campers an opportunity to sample college life while gaining academic knowledge and learning how to improve their scores on standardized tests. Morning and afternoon sessions will explore different academic areas through lectures given by Transylvania faculty and staff members. These will often be the same lectures you might receive as a Transylvania student. Evening sessions will help prepare campers for the ACT and SAT exams. They will receive two evenings of math preparation and two evenings of verbal preparation. During camp, participants live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet services will not be available in the dorm rooms. To be eligible for this camp, campers must have a grade average of at least a B and be recommended by two individuals - one of them a teacher or counselor who verifies your grades and confirms that you are interested in and would benefit from the camps program.
