LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Advanced Development Camp: Session 3 - Cabin John Regional Park
Big Train Manager Sal Colangelo has designed these camps for advanced training for young players with above-average skills. On Monday, Big Train players and coaches will lead the campers through a series of drills designed to improve skills and choose teams for the weeks showcase games. Each day from Tuesday through Friday, camp will begin with one hour of skills training followed by a 7-inning showcase game on Field #2. Each camper will receive an official Big Train & BCC Baseball Summer Camp t-shirt that will entitle the camper free admission to all Big Train home games at Shiryley Povich Field during the 2015 regular season. For an additional $90, the participants in the Advanced Development Player Camps may attend the regular Big Train Camp in the afternoon until 3 p.m. 301-365-1076

THIS YEARS SPRING SHOW IS CHARLOTTES WEB! A Non-Musical - Based on the book by E.B. White. Directed by Kirsten Raymond Learn performance skills and grow as an actor while directly applying the new knowledge to a full production performance of Charlottes Web. Through rehearsals and theater games and exercises, students will hone skills in acting and movement in a supportive group environment. Charlottes Web auditions will take place on March 2nd at the HCA. 2nd -3rd graders should arrive for their audition at 5:15 pm. They should prepare a short poem of their choice or read one of the poems provided in the attachment. 4th - 8th graders do not have to schedule an appointment. Please arrive anytime between 5:45 pm - 6:15 pm. Auditioners will be seen one at a time in the order of their arrival. There are two attachments of audition material for this age group. Middler Camp will encourage children going into third and fourth grade to discover what it means to live faithfully for God—the Challenge given by the Apostle Paul in 1 Cor. 9:24. During this four-day camp, music, lessons, crafts, games, swimming, and campfires will keep your child busy building relationships with other kids and most importantly, with Jesus. Matt Beckner, Pastor at Twin Cities Christian Church in Council Bluffs (IA), brings more than a decade of experience leading Bible Camps for children this age.
