Teen North African Music, Dance and Culture Camp - Nampa, ID
Travel to Northern Africa and the Middle-East, without the motion sickness or expensive flight. Learn about the music, dance and culture of the area of the world where Africa meets the Orient. It's a whole new world of music and dance! If you only have a Western Music Education, you are missing out on over three fourths of the world's music! Students will attend from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, August 4th and 6th. Besides learning dance moves, students will make percussive instruments and learn to play several N. African Rhythms. Students will learn about the music and culture of this area of the world through music, dance, video, food and art. On Saturday, August 8th, students will have the opportunity to join 1 World Dance in a performance!

Kid's Camp at VT People's Convention - Montpelier, VT
This Spring the Vermont People’s Convention will bring hundreds of people together as a critical step in building a unified movement for healthy communities and a just society. On April 30 & May 1st at Montpelier High School, individuals and organizations working for disability rights, racial justice, immigrant rights, climate justice and labor unions will come together for a weekend to share, learn and take action together. The organizers of the convention are working hard to make this an intergenerational event with a parallel Youth Activism Summit for teens, and a Kid’s Camp for children 12 and under. To make lasting and far reaching change we need the participation of Grandparents, Parents and their Children! The Kid’s Camp at the People’s Convention will not only provide quality childcare, but will be a fun space for kids to learn about and participate in creating a more just and vibrant world. Through stories and activities, kids will have opportunities to learn and think critically about various struggles for human rights and dignity. With art projects, cooperative games, and nature exploration kids will be encouraged to express themselves and make friends. Ball Handling camp is designed to teach players to handle the basketball with control and confidence. Players learn ball handling and dribbling techniques such as crossover, between the legs, behind the back and reverse pivot. This camp is designed for our 3, 4, & 5 year old sprouting farmers. Children will be involved in animal care activities, meeting the new farm arrivals, nature walks, and simple farm cooking activites. These day camps are offered to teach responsibility and kindness for the farm, each other and our environment. Each day is planned for our Sprouting Farmers and offers an excellent hands-on opportunity for exploration and growth. Note: This camp runs Monday- Friday from 9-noon 860-535-8171

Extra Pointers Football Camp 1 (Grades 6-12) - WWP North Athletic Camp
Extra Pointers Kicking, Punting & Specialists Football Camp (Grades 6 - 12) The goal of this camp is to make athletes into solid, competent performers. Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. For students interested in attending both Extra pointers camps, June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4 they will receive $50 off the cost of the two camps but must register for the "combo" camp to receive discount. At the Netcast Basketball Camp students will receive a superior basketball camp experience thats educational and fun. With lectures, drills, stations and competitive games; our camp is designed to create an atmosphere where basic fundamentals and skills are developed for all of our campers.
