Yes, boys will boys and that's why this camp experience was tailor made for our two pre-teens. It seems like they never run out of energy and this was the perfect environment to keep them busy. I also very much liked the ability to check in and see how they were progressing. Are you monogram crazy? In this one evening mini-camp you'll paint a 12" curly vine monogram for your room, plus learn to monogram a string tote bag, and try out a monogram jewelry technique. This camp is for our older crafters, ages 11 and up. $50 includes all supplies and pizza, too.

Teen weekend is for youngsters age 12-17, and campers have the option to bring a friend of the same sex and approximate age. This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups, as well as a learning experience for campers without diabetes. Educational sessions relating to “teen issues,” “school issues,” and “How-to-be-a-friend” are led by pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dieticians and mental health professionals. We understand that networking and the support of a teen’s peers is critical at this age, so we provide fun and interactive activities such as a beach party, luaus, casino night, and a lot of land sports.

Solids, Liquids, Gases, Oh My! Have you ever wondered how to make a liquid grow spikes? Or why your cookie recipe needs baking soda? Or how to make liquid water that is colder than ice? This is the camp to get those answers all while having fun. Students will experiment with safe, hands on projects and games exploring the tiniest bits of matter. Each day we will look at a different topic of chemistry and have several activities and experiments related to that topic. Some topics may include food chemistry.
