Jump into 3-D game design using the visual programming tool Kodu to design and mold terrain, set camera angles, adjust lighting, populate objects, and program behaviors. Combine these skills to create an original platform for racing or storytelling within a 3-D world. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY. FRIDAYS ARE FIELD TRIP DAYS AND ARE THEREFORE FULL DAYS. UNLESS THE CAMP DIRECTOR GIVES YOU AN EARLIER ARRIVAL TIME, PLAN TO DROP OFF YOUR CHILD AT 9:00 AM ON FRIDAYS. From Manga to classic Superheroes, campers will explore different drawing, cartooning and animation styles in this extraordinary mixed media class. Some of our projects include creating character profiles and story lines to use in your own comic book and figure, and making doodles into colorful art posters. Feeding Frenzy: March 22 YUM YUM..its feeding time at Ecoadventures, and theres no better place to be! Crickets, worms, mice, flies, fish,..you never know whats on the menu, but its sure to be gobbled up!! Feeding time at EA is a busy, busy, day and we need your help to make sure all the hungry mouths get their fair share. Throughout the day, a few participants at a time will go behind the scenes with the EA staff and assist in animal husbandry and care. Throughout the day the feeding frenzy will continue...you might see a snake swallow its meal whole, a croc do a death roll on its lunch, or a chameleons long tongue rocket out to grab a cricket. Learn about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, and how animals eat. Play games, make a craft, and even a few snacks of your own as you will definitely work up an appetite!
