Bike Hike - Vasona Lake County Park
Biology and ecology is as easy as riding a bike! Use your bike as a vehicle to explore and learn more about our local environment. The trails in and near Vasona Park will reveal critical features of our watershed and interesting aspects of our local and natural history. Practice and improve your riding skills and learn trail etiquette and bicycle safety. Also delve into the mechanics of various bike parts with hands-on experiments. Field hockey camp combines fundamental skill work, scrimmage play and fun games to stimulate a love for the game and accelerate the athletes progress and success. Foothills Day Camp - Session 3 - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Celebrating 57 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love for nature, Foothills Day Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors. Each session includes pre and post camp, which means campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30am-8:45am, and picked up anytime between 4-6pm (drop-off and pickup location is at the Girl Scout House). Additionally, campers will spend the second Thursday of each session sleeping under a blanket of stars at Camp Towle for the ultimate campout experience. Night activities include a delicious BBQ, animated storytelling around the campfire, a thrilling night hike, and more.
