Final Kid's Camp Meeting - McKinney, TX
This is a mandatory final camp meeting for all parents of kids who will be attending Kid's Camp this year. We will meet directly following 2nd service in the Gen Kids Room. (FSCA) Florida Sportsmen's Conservation Association 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day Our Annual event is scheduled for February 6,2016 at the Everglades Youth Camp in J W Corbett WMA. We are expecting over 1,500 children of all ages to come and enjoy various activities. In an effort to reduce the increasing decline of our children's interest in the outdoors, FSCA has created an Outdoor Youth Day. Outdoor Youth Day is a Program specifically designed to educate children to many different recreational activities available in our natural areas but munch more importantly have some fun outdoors. This is the 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day event and It’s FSCA biggest day of the year. Youth Day has buggy rides, canoeing, pony rides, airboat rides and displayed, archery, gun range instruction, fishing and wildlife shows to reach kids of all ages and show them the benefits of being outdoors instead of in front of a TV. The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7 th ? 9 th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80 th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. INSTRUCTOR: CALLEN ZIMMERMAN Textiles for Teens is a gallery-based program at the Brooklyn location of the Textile Arts Center. This hands-on class explores students personal artistic interests right in the midst of our Artist in Residence studios, and will provide full access to our dye lab, screen printing facilities, sewing machines, looms, & more. Students will be able to draw inspiration from the eight resident artists and designers evolving work in fine arts, fashion design, and home textiles, and gain insight into the endless possibilities within the world of textiles. Lenape Day Camp - Session I (Grades 1-6) Recreational camp provides a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, multi-cultural games, fitness, science, nature, and swimming. Field trips and special presentations are planned throughout the summer. Swim program is not optional. All campers will participate in a 1/2 hour American Red Cross swim lesson and a 1/2 hour of recreational swim each day. Registration is for full two-week session. Lenape cannot be combined with other specialty or sport camps offered by the Township. Pre and Post Camp care is offered at Millstone River School through WWP Community Education for an additional fee. Children enrolled in pre/post camp will be escorted by camp staff members between the two schools.
