Want to work outside this summer? Are you an outdoor program looking for potential employees? Come to the University of New Hampshire's annual Outdoor Jobs and Camp Fair Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building at UNH. More than 40 employers representing non-profit outdoor and environmental agencies, commercial outfitters, summer camps and international travel companies will attend this year's fair to recruit summer and full-time employees. Some representatives conduct on-the-spot interviews. The fair, which is free for job seekers and open to the public, attracts more than 400 students and others from diverse academic fields, including outdoor education, nursing, natural resources, recreation management, theatre arts, business, and equine sciences. Attendees can win raffle prizes donated by local businesses. This is a great opportunity for networking and obtaining employment or employees early on in the hiring season. Junior Club Team - Eagle Ridge Golf Academy
The Junior Club Team meets every Sunday, July through September. Juniors will learn new skills during the practice sessions and play on course matches to help them develop tournament play skills. They will learn to play different match formats to gain experience. Want to play like the pros? As part of the club team, all juniors are participating in the Junior Cup Challenge. Each week there will be a different format played, with points being awarded based on position finished. Our Fredericksburg Adventure day camp for 7-14 year old runs Mon-Fri from 8:30 to 4:30.
