Volleyball - Norfolk Christian Schools
Volleyball is the ultimate team sport. It is exciting, action packed and one of the fastest growing sports in the Tidewater area. The game requires outstanding hand-eye coordination, skill mastery, quickness, anticipation, teamwork and the motivation to "lay it all on the line." Now is a great time for your child to get started or further develop their game at the NCS volleyball camp. Campers will receive instruction in the six skills of volleyball: serving, passing, digging, setting, attacking and blocking. Campers will learn rotational and perimeter defenses and how and when to use them. Though instruction will be thorough, the atmosphere will be positive and enjoyable for all the campers. Welcome to the world of Mining and Crafting. At this exciting camp your child will craft and create on a lap top computer. Throughout the week, your child will be given exciting building challenges in BOTH the creative and survival mode of MINECRAFT ® BEWARE OF CREEPERS!! Renaissance has hired some mining experts to help your child learn secrets and short cuts that can be taken home for use on their own MINECRAFT® games. A secure server will be provided for their use during this camp. We will focus on several advanced crafting skills such as red-stone wiring, advanced survival tactics and advanced gardening. Campers will participate in a horserace and become paleoentoligists digging for bones to construct a dinosaur. There are new challenges everyday and the excitement builds with each new challenge.
