We all know that the YMCA has been around for years. But instead of a outdated program, the summer day camp was fun and fresh. Between the swimming, the sports and the crafts our kids were certainly kept busy. Not once did we hear, "I'm bored!" That's a huge change of pace for them. All proceeds support Hudson Guild’s free summer camp for kids in need. $50 in advance (through June 2), $60 at the door Hudson Guild is a community-based social services organization rooted in and primarily focused in Chelsea. Each year, Hudson Guild provides a wide range of services, from early childhood education to programs for seniors, including PreK, afterschool, teen services, mental health care, and both visual and performing arts – for over 14,000 underprivileged members of our community. Hudson Guild provides a stable “home away from home” for learning and development, and a safety net for people in economic distress.

Players will learn proper mechanics , and strategies to being a successful youth league players. cost per player $50 per player On Sunday November 20th Matt will conduct an advanced level clinic for High School age pitchers detailing to them regarding what it takes to pitch at the next level. The week long camp will provide campers the opportunity to work side by side certified lifeguards. During the class you will learn water safety, improve your swimming skills, rescue techniques, CPR and the use of professional Lifesaving equipment. *Please note that the camp will not certify you as a lifeguard, it serves as an introductory course. Designed for high school students, Clarinet Camp covers topics from clarinet assembly and reed care to history and repertoire. Students will be placed in small ensembles to play clarinet-only repertoire which will be featured in a final performance at the end of the week for family and friends. During small ensemble rehearsals and classes, well discuss clarinet specific topics including: how the reeds/mouthpieces/ligatures we choose affect our performance, various styles of clarinet playing, the acoustics and history of the instrument and emergency repair.
