Beginning June 5, 2015, Elite Stride will be holding a 6-week strength and conditioning training camp and also skilled position training camp. Age group 6-12. The ending date for this event is July 17. Civil War Officer Training Academy - Historic Travellers Rest
A-TEN-TION!!! CADETS, FALL IN!!! Officers Training Academy is now accepting enlistments for a week of drills, tactics, military strategy, and flour-bomb battle reenactments. Learn how Civil War officers trained their soldiers, prepared for battles, and entertained themselves during downtime. All cadets will be loaned a soldiers uniform and wooden training rifle for the week. Bring a parent for the academy camp-out on Friday night, have a soldiers campfire breakfast, and attend the graduation ceremony on Saturday morning. Teen Camp 9-4pm wk 2 - Frankfort Park District
The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7 th ? 9 th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80 th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. A copy of your child?s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration.
