What this camp might lack in 5 star hotel lodging they more than make up for in personal attention to campers. They remember every camper by name, send them birthday cards, and make sure each one is recognized as a VERY special person. They have been doing this for 35 years with an impeccable safety record. Skills & Development - Swope (12-14y) - Swope Soccer Village
This a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 6-14 years-old. Players will improve their technical abilities and footwork with the soccer ball through practicing proper mechanics of dribbling, receiving, turning and control. Having technically sound foot skills give players a competitive edge in progressing to tactical application in game-like scenarios. After completion of the Skills & Development camp, we recommend progressing to the Dribbling & Passing camp. Our program is strategically designed to engage children in various activities that enable them to apply their verbal, written, and comprehension skills in French while having oodles of fun! Under the guidance of French speaking teachers, your children participate in various recreational, creative, educational, and academic activities in French. The enriching environment provides an ideal condition for your child to learn/continue with the French language throughout the summer. The ISB Summer Camp fits the needs of both non-French and French speakers. Non-French speakers benefit from the language immersion while French speakers enhance their language skills in an extra-scholastic environment. Camp Day Activities Children cultivate their French language skills by participating in a wide array of activities created to encourage physical well-being and summer learning. Make it a full-day, full-week camp! Campers ages 5 and up attending morning camps may attend BMC [] in the afternoon for half-price and/or attend the Wednesday field trips. Learn the basics of programming from the ground up. Use Scratch and Code.org to unravel the mysteries of variables, loops, and conditional statements, then design your own interactive games and graphics. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY. FRIDAYS ARE FIELD TRIP DAYS AND ARE THEREFORE FULL DAYS. UNLESS THE CAMP DIRECTOR GIVES YOU AN EARLIER ARRIVAL TIME, PLAN TO DROP OFF YOUR CHILD AT 9:00 AM ON FRIDAYS. Parents please note for those of you looking to sign up for the PGA Junior Golf League, you must do that on pgajlg.com. The PGA Junior Golf League is a separate entity. The Fox Den Junior Golf League is designed for junior golfers between the ages of 10 & 17 who are eager to take their abilities onto the golf course. Schedule consists of (7) nine hole rounds of golf starting at approximately 2pm every Tuesday.Prior to the 9 holes of golf students will receive instruction, participate in competitions, and practice/warm up.
