LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Kids Summer Camp week 1 - Spirit of the Horse Stables
Spring horse camps great for kids to build character and increase their knowledge of horses while having a great time and making friends. Our groups are small in order to provide more one on one teaching. All campers will enjoy learning to tack their horse, riding, grooming, bathing and caring for their horse. We will have daily arts & crafts that they can take home. Campers will also enjoy additional fun activities, and be able spend more time with the horses. All campers will have activities tailored toward their age & experiences. For girls and boys ages 5 - 18 years old. Beginner- Advanced riders welcome. Runs Monday- Friday 8 am - 2pm - Offering early drop off and late pick up for an additional $10 per hour - Limited space we only take up to 10 campers per week - Multiple kid and refer a friend discounts - camp photos included (must sign waiver) - Horse show every Friday (ribbons are given out) parents are welcome to come - will learn about other farm animals & how to care for them Suggested to have and be own helmet that fits properly (will supply if needed)! 3/12 3:00pm SEUSSICAL Audition - PYT Studios
Pre-register for a 3pm audition time for Peninsula Youth Theatres CENTERSTAGE production of "SEUSSICAL." Registration guarantees you a spot in the 3pm audition group. You must be age 8-18 or have prior executive director approval. Children must be 8 by 3/17/16 to participate. PLEASE NOTE: TO KEEP YOUR SPOT you must arrive by 2:30pm with your paperwork completed for check in and measurements. If you have not arrived by 2:45pm your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list and you will be moved to the next available audition slot. We cannot guarantee that that will be the next audition group. SC2016: Life Under a Rock Week - Sanibel Flagship Campus
Oh the things that live under rocks! If you only knew what cool creatures are under there, youd never snorkel in more than a foot of water again! Well spend a week turning over rocks to see what teeny-tiny creatures we can find living in the ocean. Marine worms, tiny crabs, tiny crustaceans and nudibranchs and all kinds of algae. Well bring some rocks to our tanks to watch more closely. Well leave no rock unturned. And since were talking about the highly prized wave zone (in wavier places), well crash around in our own splash zone and compete for space to imagine where a limpet or barnacle is supposed to go when all the rocks are full.
