Every teen is looking for a reason to take a few days off school and have some fun. Camp CoBeAc offers the opportunity for teens to break away from busy schedules and loads of homework. Come and spend a few days at camp for a time to relax physically and recharge spiritually. This exciting weekend contains five preaching sessions by Pastor Kurt Skelly, late night tubing, volleyball and basketball tournaments, team competitions, blazing fireplace, human foosball, special skit hour, annual broom hockey tournament, cozy coffee shop and gift store, delicious meals, and so much more!!! Instructor: Ms. Anamaria Here is the summary for the club. Below it is the summary for me: Crochet/Knitting and Paper folding In this club we focus on learning basic crochet or knitting techniques. This includes learning how to read charts. Students choose between knitting or crochet to start. They have option of learning the other later. Squares are the main building blocks for all of the projects. Projects will be up to the students to choose. They range from a scarf, book cover to a basic shirt. There will also be small non-square projects like mustaches, flowers and balls. Focusing on squares gives participants a quick project that can easily be completed during club time after the first few sessions. It also allows for lots of color without having to change or join yarn. Small projects like these can easily be done anywhere. The possibilities are endless for completed projects. A completed scarf can easily become a blanket later on if they want with the simple addition of more squares. Did you fall in love with Foothills Camp when you were younger? Do you like to explore the land, hike the trails and sleep under the stars? Foothills Adventure is built on the same tried-and-true principles as our Foothills Day and Fun Camps, but developed specifically for middle school aged youth. Longer hikes, more sophisticated games and activities, weekly challenges with Foothills Camp staff...the fun doesnt end with Foothills Day anymore! An overnight on the first Thursday of the session is a must, but Foothills Adventure takes campfires and night games to a whole nother level. NEW IN 2016 - Swimming on the last Friday of camp ends the session on a perfect note. Get ready for a Foothills Adventure you wont forget!
