Change is good. I need a change too. As it stands, my career and student base are growing, but my studio space is not. In order to do more amazing things for my students and the community, I started a search for a bigger, better, more creatively inviting space. Coincidentally, a like-minded creative thinker is expanding our local arts community with a vision of making our city a better place to live, by renovating an old building called the Gear Factory. The Short Films Studio - The Evergreen School
Take a seat in the directors chair as you learn how to construct high-quality cinematic experiences. Youll learn how to plan, shoot and edit video like the pros as we cover camera operation, storyboards, shot types, framing, and editing with Adobe Premiere. Throughout the week, you will work with a small crew to produce a number of short films in a variety of styles. 206-957-1533

The Full-Day Camp is a challenging and enjoyable session designed to develop the essential skills of the field player. Each day, campers will enjoy technical training sessions, small and full-sided games, movies, swimming, and much more. In addition, lunch will be provided by The University of Tulsa dining center. Camp Yakety Yak (CYY) is a 501c3 organization that was created in 2010 to help children with special needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability) grow socially and emotionally by improving their communication skills. Our educational mission is twofold: 1) provide instruction in social & emotional skills to children (ages 6-11) with special needs & their siblings to support friendship development in a day camp setting and 2) provide an opportunity for future professionals in educational and therapeutic fields to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in working with children with special needs. Eighty percent of our staff members are students from local universities and high schools who receive 30 hours of training and ongoing supervision by our professional faculty. 9713033901.0
