She spent a lot of time with good friends that she’s known through Camp Ocoee and they played a lot of volleyball and basketball, but she said they also tried the BMX and water sports portions of the camp. Ages 13-18, $640 early bird registration. Spend all day playing music in the redwoods, and have a great time singing, dancing, watching Song of the Sea in the meadow, sessioning and improv-ing every night! Before dinner in the late afternoon the pool is open as well as the volleyball court, ping pong table, basket ball and tether ball. Program includes all meals and boarding. Also get to build a Egg Drop Car. The purpose is to build a gravity vehicle that can cushion a raw egg as the car holding the egg is dropped from a high height. We provide you with the material to cushion the fall. You have to be creative. In these three challenges in one workshop, you will learn about Laws of Motion, Energy, Air Pressure, Friction, Lift, Speed and Acceleration. The BYU Baseball staff is excited to announce this years High School Baseball Camp schedules. Our High school camp is designed for players that are serious about baseball and looking for advanced techniques and development. If you want to play collegiate baseball, this is the camp for you. At camp you will be able to interact with all of BYU Baseballs coaching staff. You will be able to see the beautiful BYU campus and utilize all of the facilities. At camp each participant will receive training, gain important insights, and play exciting games at beautiful Miller Park. This camp will focus on advanced skill development. Squad games will provide opportunities to implement skill learned during camp and give the opportunity to current BYU coaches to give suggestions to each camper. In addition, squad games provide the opportunity to learn team aspects of competition during games. You will have the chance to showcase your skills in front of college coaches and the BYU coaching staff. Film Crew 102 - Independent Film Making Winter 2016 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
Class meets: January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 28, March 6, 13, 20 No class February 14 or February 21 Everyone has a story. In this course, students will learn how to express themselves through the visual medium of motion pictures. Students will create an individual, independent film based on a story from their own life. We will work together through the entire process, from writing the story basics, and sequencing, to exploring setting, props and costuming. Free film making apps will be utilized. Students should bring their own digital device to use for filming. A few will be available for use onsite and for editing sessions. Kitchen Kids CIT program provides the opportunity for teens to develop leadership and culinary skills. This program is ideal for high school students who love helping younger kids and being in the kitchen. Being a Kitchen Kid CIT is fun and rewarding. Special roles include assisting culinary coaches with mini lessons at the start of each day, prepping ingredients, providing support to the younger chefs, supervising clean up, creating extra recipes throughout the week, organizing the farmers market day, and leading their own small group at the end of the week.
