Field hockey camp combines fundamental skill work, scrimmage play and fun games to stimulate a love for the game and accelerate the athletes progress and success. Athletes work on dribbling, offensive moves, defensive skills, passing, hitting, sweeping, one-on-one attacking skills, one-on-one defensive skills, corner tactics and shooting. Boy Scouts Troop 114 is raising funds for Summer Camp! Please stop by and grab a delicious dinner anytime between 5-8pm on Thursday, April 7th. You can come in and visit with the troop while you eat OR you can participate via the drive-thru! Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they'll put a copy of your receipt in a basket and a portion of your meal cost will be donated to our troop! That's it, SO easy! Please share this event out with everyone you know who lives in the area; everyone is welcome and invited to join! Thank you all for supporting our boys. Discover skills of the ancient scout, nearly lost to history, if it weren’t for a handful of people who kept these practices alive. The Chicago Bulls Training Academy staff of expert coaches will be giving each player an opportunity to receive the kind of basketball instruction taught to the pros. Boys & Girls, rising 3rd-5th grades Campers will be introduced to basic programming concepts using age-appropriate software and apps. Campers will learn how to create animations and games and will share them with the group. Previous experience not required, but campers should be comfortable using a computer and/ or a tablet. QuadCopter Aerial Robotics – Ages 12-15 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Price Includes $100 lab fee Campers will explore aerial robotics technology with fun and engaging educational scenarios and challenges. This camp offers aviation flight skills and interactive robotics training, and encourages camper interest in the career fields of Science, Math, and Engineering. Campers will build prototypes with the new technology and run test scenarios for safety, search, and rescue. Multiple teams of four will apply technology and planning to build a quad rotor designed for a specific first responder mission. Missions include: delivering pharmaceuticals to people in a disaster area, maneuvering the copter close to a (mock) hazardous waste container, and searching for a lost hiker. Campers will also operate and take home their own hand-size quadcopter at the end of the week! 805-570-1988

Step Into the Story - Session III - Neverland - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Great childrens books serve as launching pads for dramatic adventures. So jump into some of the most awesome stories ever told to become the characters, then act out your favorite parts. Reimagine tales through movement, music, and art creation. Session III focuses on Neverland and the adventures of Peter Pan. Tiger Lily and the Lost Boys of Neverland need to outsmart Captain Hook to escape his clutches. Students will create costumes, sing a song, and spin their best stories to finish their adventure. Students work to create the story for a presentation on the final day of class for family and friends. 817-421-2825
