LUCKY WHITEHEADS 1st ANNUAL YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP CHARITY EVENT - Manass
SUNDAY MAY 15th at Osbourn High School football fields in Manassas 9:00-12:00 kids ages 4-15 Football agility drills,blocking,tackling techniques,running,kicking,speed and agility and much more !! $25 per child on site registration first come first served. IN CASE OF STEADY RAIN CAMP WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE. RULES: * $25 per child CASH ONLY no checks or credit cards *Parents will not be allowed on the fields but may watch from outside the fence. This is to insure crowd control and make sure the children can focus on the coaches. *No Refunds *All waivers must be completed and turned in before your child is allowed to enter the practice field. Farmersburg Youth League will be hosting a camp with the NCHS 2A State Champion Softball team and Baseball team The camp will be located at: North Central High School Boys Camp August 1st, 2015 9:00am to Noon $10.00 per child (ages K – 8th grade) Each parent must sign a waiver when the child is dropped off. ! Teen Summer Garden Camp - Carlisle, PA
Cumberland County, PA – New this summer, a horticulture program designed just for teens! Join the Master Gardeners of Cumberland County for their first-ever Teen Summer Garden Camp on two Mondays, June 20 and June 27, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Held at the Penn State Extension Office in Carlisle and the Southeast Agricultural Research and Extension Center (SEAREC) in Manheim, PA, this fun-filled camp offers teens ages 13-15, or in grades 7-9, the ability to explore and discover the “behind-the-scenes” of a garden. The first camp session on June 20 offers teens the opportunity to delve deeper into horticulture topics and engage in hands-on learning about the scientific method, photosynthesis, chromatography, soils, microscope skills, and plant identification. Teens will also build their very own gourd birdhouse. Come prepared for plenty of exploration, observations, activities and discussions! For the second camp session on June 27, teens will travel to the Southeast Agricultural Research and Extension Center (SEAREC) in Manheim, PA. Campers will take a wagon tour across the research farm, explore thousands of annual and perennial flowers, visit the Idea Gardens, and create a colorful bandana using vegetable dyes. Natures Explorers - Week 9 - Nature Center at Shaker Lakes
This week we will explore some ways we can help protect our planet. Campers will work together to brainstorm and create an earth-friendly product. At the end of the week, they will present their product to the rest of the camp and parents, demonstrating how everyone can think of ways to make our planet a better place. Camp Sneak Preview - Childrens Theatre (CHT)
The Bay Areas finest musical theatre professionals teach kids how to sing, act and dance! This adventurous program explores theatre through collective creation, story development and improvisation. Students also learn about various aspects of technical theatre, such as set construction, painting, costumes and make-up. Guided by their teachers, students share their creativity with parents and friends on the final day of camp. Performance on final day at 3:00 pm. Participants need to bring a bag lunch daily. Kids at the Pottery Wheel (34239A) - Cary Academy
Explore all the basics of throwing on the potters wheel making useful forms including mugs, bowls, plates, and so much more. Learn fun hand-building techniques in this small group camp where you will have access to your own wheel to use throughout the camp. After your pottery is created, you will decorate forms using a variety of colorful slips and glazes.
