Teen Adventure Camp - undefined, NC
In this program, designed exclusively for teenagers, students will develop a new sense of confidence and empowering self-reliance as they explore nature, ancient skills, and the lore of the Native Americans. Wilderness Survival Skills are the core of this program. Students will learn numerous outdoor skills, such as Primitive fire-making, shelter building, safe water purification and how to identify wild edible and medicinal plants. From here we'll expand outward and introduce your teenagers to variety of nature awareness exercises. Apr 2016 Teen Clinic - GIRLS ONLY (Thu 5-6) - Eastlake Country Club
Series of four, 1-hour lessons for $140. Our teen clinics go beyond the basics of the golf swing. Emphasis is on the scoring part of the game: putting, chipping and pitching as well as full swing. Video analysis may be used to improve the swing. Rules and etiquette are also strongly emphasized. Intended for teens ages 13-17 (Minimum 4 students). PLEASE NOTE: There is a $3.95 non-refundable fee for registering online. If you would like to avoid this fee and pay with cash, check or credit card on the first day of the clinic, please email to register your child.

Gymnastics Camp, Ages 7-13 - Community House
Girls will have the opportunity to learn gymnastics including rhythmic gymnastics with hoops and ribbons, tumbling on the mats and have the opportunity to learn routines on the balance beam, the single and uneven parallel bars and the vault. Lorrie Rousseau is LPRDs Gymnastic Instructor during the school year and now Lorrie brings her talent and over 25 years of dance and gymnastic experience to our summer camps. This is an excellent opportunity for dancers and cheerleaders to get in shape and learn beginner through intermediate gymnastic level activities. Space is limited! 3D Modeling & Printing: Cedar Way - Cedar Way Elementary
Working collaboratively in pairs, students will discover how to build objects in 3D suitable for 3D printing, utilizing the online platform, TinkerCad. Smart with Art educators will teach students to work with 3D design elements, learn about creating art in perspective, all while exploring practical applications of 3D technology. We will challenge their spatial skills with ocean themed, art-related activities. Students will be able to create a personalized 3D model to print and take home at the end of class. Natural History - Week 2 - Natural History
Can you tell a bird from its call? Identify a mammal from its prints in the mud? Ever wonder where flying squirrels live? How to catch a snake or a bullfrog? Come join us as we adventure through creeks, marshes, forests, and the many natural places of beauty we have to explore on The Heights campus and all around the metropolitan area. The various ingredients of this camp make for a fantastic summer experience. From the personal attention and fun atmosphere of learning, to the outdoor adventures and games, this is an experience hard to beat or imitate. Activities: short classes, nature walks, daily journal, creek exploration, games, field and fishing trips, and specimen collection. Session I will focus on mammals, reptiles, and birds. Session II will focus on insects and trees. Staff Anton Vorozhko teaches 6th grade homeroom in the middle school. APRD Girls Volleyball 5th - 12th grade - City of Auburn
Grades: 5th – 12th (Go by the proper grade child should be in school) This league emphasizes skill building, participation, fun and exciting volleyball competition. Girls from Lee County are welcome to participate in our youth volleyball league. Participants must have a birth certificate on file.
