Summer Camp 2016 - Tulatin, OR
Summer Camp 2016 is at Twin Rocks Friends Camp, August 1-5 for Middle and High School students. Students will participate in activities including basketball, volleyball, octo-ball, ping-pong, billiards, disc “Frisbee” golf, miniature golf, Spring Lake for swimming, canoeing, and blobbing, and have life-changing moments including services with Donnie Moore and high energy worship music. The entire camp is designed to build relationships and experience the presence of God. Don’t miss it!
Downtown Kid's Art Camp - Morristown, TN
Join us for some fun activities right in your downtown area! Yummy Cakes and More, I am an Artist, and Pink Pig Pottery studio have teamed together to make an art camp that the kids will never forget! We will be learning some awesome painting techniques, baking projects (YUMMY!), and much more! We hope you can join in on the art extravaganza! The kids will need to pack a lunch for the first two days, but The Meeting Place downtown will provide lunch hon the third day! Call us at 423-307-5777 with any questions! Our Kids's art camp is back...and the last one during Summer Break! We provide all the supplies, your child's inspiration and step-by-step instruction of the featured art. At the end of the event, kids will go home with their very own shark masterpiece. Our event will be hosted by Beth Cline and $20 includes supplies and Instruction. A light snack will be served. Park Adventures Camp - Historic Yates Mill County Park
This adventure camp allows participants to gain a sense of accomplishment by attaining goals in a unique historical setting and diverse natural environment. Daily camp themes include (1) Explorers & Mapping, (2) Pioneer-Farmers & Agriculture, (3) Millers & Mechanics, (4) History Detectives, and (5) Artist-Naturalists & Ecology. Among other activities, Day 1 includes a hike around the park, orienteering exercises and a canoe float; Day 2 includes a planting activity and visits to a local organic farm and the State Farmers Market; Day 3 includes a mill tour and an inventors workshop with simple machines; Day 4 includes a group mystery to solve and a road trip to the NC Museum of History; and Day 5 includes wildlife studies and sketching, pond dipping with nets and cane pole fishing. This program is almost full. Consider the waiting list as a backup option. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a drop off program for ages 7-14; fee: $184.00/child (includes a $4.00 mill tour).
