Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run - Kearney, NE
Please join us for our Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run! Starting friday night we will have devos, activities and an evening ending campfire! Saturday morning we will have breakfast and a devo as we get ready for the Mud Run! The Mud Run starts at 10:30 AM with registration beginning at 9:45. The cost for the Mud Run is 35 and the cost for the mini youth rally is 10. Fall Teen Adventure Weekend - West Branch, MI
Canoe trip on the Au Sable River with overnight lodging at YMCA Camp Timbers. Co-ed, ages 13-17. Join YMCA Camp Timbers staff for a TEEN ADVENTURE WEEKEND canoeing the Au Sable River! The weekend begins with a Friday night stay at Camp Timbers before launching on the Au Sable River Saturday morning. After spending Saturday canoeing the river, participants return to Camp Timbers in the evening to enjoy S’mores around a campfire. The weekend ends with debriefing, unpacking, and a sampling of adventure activities at camp on Sunday. Cost is $75 for Y members and $90 for non-members and includes: meals, lodging, use of canoeing gear, transportation between Camp Timbers and the Au Sable River, and programming. Introduction to Sports Performance - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Participants in this session will explore and learn sport and athletic performance methods including but not limited to strength, power, explosiveness, speed, quickness, agility, and endurance. Students will be taught multiple exercises, techniques, and routines that can be useful in developing a solid foundation in performance training. They will be exposed to isometric, isotonic, and isokinetic muscular contractions. All attendees will be tested on several different athletic performance measurements and given their results at the conclusion of the sessions, therefore providing areas in which they can improve in the future. Coach Joel Clem is Brebeuf Jesuits Strength and Conditioning Coach, Wellness Center Coordinator, and Physical Education faculty member. During his time as the strength and conditioning coach for Brebeufs athletic teams, he has trained State Championship volleyball, soccer, and hockey teams. He has also trained State Runner-Up football, baseball, soccer, and golf teams. Coach Clem has helped mold over 50 Brebeuf Jesuit student-athletes into collegiate athletes, including over a dozen competing at the Division I level. 3175247050.0
