DC Reads Kids On Campus Day - Washington, DC
It's that time of year again...Kids on Campus Day 2016 is coming to AU on April 22nd! This is a celebration of the DC Reads community and the hard work of students and tutors for the 2015-2016 school year! Students from DC Reads schools will be welcomed to AU for a day filled with fun activities "around the world" and will end with a book fair and dinner in TDR! Yoga at any age builds strength and flexibility while teaching us about confidence and cooperation. Our Teens & Tweens Holiday Mini-Camp experience will offer your child tools to listen to their body/self through yoga, games and mindfulness techniques. This FUN camp experience will be the perfect opportunity after the holidays (and before school begins again) for your child to learn techniques to help them with school, sports and life in today’s world in a fun and playful environment. Camp signs are posted on Highway 37 starting 4 miles west of Garrison. Directions to Camp From Minot: Take highway 83 south to route 37 west (toward Garrison). Follow route 37 approximately 4 miles past Garrison, look for "Youth Camp" sign and country road 13. Follow Triangle Y Camp signs to camp. From Bismarck: Take highway 83 north to route 37 west (toward Garrison). Follow route 37 approximately 4 miles past Garrison, look for "Youth Camp" sign and county road 13. Mandell Cubs Lincoln Square 2016 - 2017 - The Mandell Pre School - Lincoln Square
Mandell Cubs, a program for children ages 18 - 24 months, offers a gentle introduction to school. During the fall months, children explore the wonders of the classroom with their grown-up close by, in this non separation portion of the year. Then, in January, after the children are fully acclimated to school and have bonded with their teachers, Mandell Cubs becomes a separation program. Through use of art and playtime, music and movement, science and storytime, we build on a childs natural sense of curiosity to enrich their emotional, physical and intellectual development.
