The Great Outdoors (A.M.) with Pam Peters - Westerly Creek Elementary (Art Room)
Teacher: Pam Peters Theres nothing like some time in the great outdoors. Pam will lead children through and adventure in art exploring nature and outdoor themes. They will incorporate items they find in the outdoors on nature walks during camp or those they find on their own. The projects will also include creating from clay, which will be fired and painted or glazed. Other materials for projects will include fabric, recycled materials, beads, buttons, wood. School is closed! Have fun and make new friends in this program created just for middle school students. Our engaged and energetic staff create an environment where everyone is welcome. The morning includes one of several activities to appeal to all teens such as cooking, science projects, team sports, recess games and more! After lunch, travel offsite for a fieldtrip. 5 Days to Broadway - Session II Shrek - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Interested in learning the ropes of being in a musical or maybe youre a theater veteran and just cant get enough of the stage? Whatever your experience come join us for our mini production camps this summer. Session I explores songs and dances from the Oz stories of musical theater: The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked. Session II explores songs & scenes from Shrek Jr. Camp focuses on putting the production together as well as healthy vocal/singing production with dance combinations and character development while learning to seamlessly combine these disciplines.
