Summer Camp - Week #8 Olympic Week Welcome to the Olympics! We will separate campers into different teams at the beginning of the week. It will be up to them to create a new nation and flag to compete in this weeks Olympic Games. Throughout the week they will compete against each other to take home the gold. Our field trip will be to the St. Clair bowling alley. At the end of the week we will have a fantastic food Friday! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are paying a deposit of $20 to reserve your week, the remainder of the payment will automatically set to be deducted from your credit card the Monday of the week before camp begins. Kid's Summer Yoga Camp - Canby, OR
Balance and Harmony is happy to announce our first summer yoga camp for children ages 3-5. This camp will introduce your child to basic yoga poses and breathing exercises through story, songs and games. Each class will also include a creative activity that reinforces our yoga practice. Children will bring a packed snack and we will enjoy time outside at Wait Park. Taught by Sherry Wolfson. Sherry holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certificate. She began teaching preschool and special education over 30 years ago and has taught yoga to preschoolers at Childswork Learning Center in Portalnd for the past 3 years. Classes will be held for 5 weeks (July 1st - 29th) on Wednesdays from 1:00-4:00. Fee-$150 for all 5 days. Hanford Falcons Youth (K-6) Wrestling Camp - Richland, WA
Youth Wrestling Camp Put on by Hanford High School. There will be local college wrestlers that will be clinicians throughout the camp. We are a ministry of Shawnee Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. We have the camp to see lives changed, families strengthened and the Lord glorified. Learn all about watercolors-how to use your paints and tools, how to mix colors, create light and shade, moods and textures. Lots of fun projects and the opportunity to create your own masterpieces! Instructor: Joan Liles 502-241-6018
Illustrating (4th-8th grade) - Art Unleashed!
Students will use basic drawing techniques to learn how to tell a story through pictures. While focusing on composition and design, students will explore how to communicate an idea through an illustration. Students will work with stories written by other students as part of the Grannie Annie project.
