Uh-oh – you are shipwrecked on a desert island! Work together with your fellow campers to devise a means for collecting food and water, build shelters and bridges, and apply the science behind survival. Use the tools at hand to write a message to send in a bottle. Be careful - you may witness a volcanic eruption! Work together to design a means to escape the island and come home. Campers will use technology to develop replicable experiments, enhancing STEM outreach in an experience unique to Cary Academy. 919-677-7839

KidSport After Camp Care Week of 7/18 - 7/22 - Scarlett Middle School
After Camp Care for KidSport the week of 7/18 - 7/22 Parents/guardians come into school to sign out and pick up camper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Campers will spend the week playing exciting games like 9 Square in the Air, singing their favorite camp songs, reconnecting with old friends while making new one, canoeing and so much more. They will practice drills that they can do by themselves at home. This camp is great for all ages and positions. Campers will be divided by age and ability to enhance their learning experience. Camps include contests, games, skill work, drills, camp shirts and more!
